Bars and restaurants
Our house being in the city center, you may go by foot to the many bars and restaurants situated in Sitio or in the lower end of Nazaré which can be reached via the funicular (5 minutes away).
To see / Visit in Nazaré
Without a car :
- The Sao Miguel Fort (10 mn away)
- The Nossa Senhora Church on the Sitio Square (5mn away)
- The huge beach of Praia Do Norte (15 mn away)
- The funicular to go to Nazaré’s city center
- The dried-fish sellers on your way to town.
- The city center beaches, protected from the bigger waves.

By car :
- A dozen different beaches, ranging from wild to stony, from peaceful to bubbly.
- In the port of Nazaré : boat to see dolphins, jet ski, buggy tour ..
- Horseback riding
- Surf Lessons

Nazaré is located between Lisbon and Porto and is ideally located to see many sights in the center of Portugal without having to travel for hours.
